Hello collecting friends,

2025 marks a new phase in my collecting life. My husband and I sold our home of 30 years and have comfortably settled into a small apartment in a Central Florida retirement community. That means new friends and new opportunities … but limited space for collectibles.

I’m keeping a small number of special treasures and will begin listing the remainder of my trivets, irons, sprinkler bottles, reference books and other collectibles in my eBay Store Trivets and Treasures. Check by frequently to see what’s been added.

And please Contact Me if there’s something specific you need for your collection. (Requests will be answered in the order they are received.)

The Trivetology Project: Entry #1, March 1, 2025

My focus here on Trivetology is changing. Since I’m no longer actively collecting, there will be fewer articles on acquisitions. Instead, my energies will be channeled into the creation of a book to reorganize and archive the best of the Trivetology blog posts. Whether it will be printed and/or available in a print-on-demand version is as of yet undecided.

Much of the existing information, in its current form, may eventually disappear from this Trivetology website. If there’s a blog post that you have a special interest in, be sure to make a copy for your records ASAP using the Print function at the bottom of each page.

Thank you all for being loyal Trivetology subscribers over the past sixteen years. I have appreciated every visitor as well as all the comments and information I received. It takes a village to be a successful collector … and you have been wonderful  neighbors.
