Richard Gillis of Rossville, Georgia was a long time member of Pressing Iron and Trivet Collectors of America (PITCA) and served as its President for 2009-2010. Besides collecting and repairing antique irons he enjoyed Nascar racing and was an Atlanta Braves fan. He passed away July 26, 2021.

Rest in peace, friend and fellow collector Richard Gillis ~ you are missed.

Dennis Dodson is selling the collection of the late Richard Gillis and has established a Facebook page for that purpose. The collection is now housed with him in Chattanooga, TN.

“The purpose of this group is to find a new home for the items in the collection of Richard Gillis. It will take time but deserves the effort to appreciate and admire the dedication and love Richard experienced putting this collection together.”
