Richard Gillis of Rossville, Georgia was a long time member of Pressing Iron and Trivet Collectors of America (PITCA) and served as its President for 2009-2010. Besides collecting and repairing antique irons he enjoyed Nascar racing and was an Atlanta Braves fan. He passed away July 26, 2021.
Rest in peace, friend and fellow collector Richard Gillis ~ you are missed.
